Foothill Storm is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a great environment where children and young athletes can develop as competitive soccer players and also learn about the value of maximum effort, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. At Foothill Storm you can expect consistent professional instruction in an environment of support where athletes can develop their passion for the game of soccer. Our goal is the development of the player in Soccer and in Life.

All of the club administrators are unpaid volunteers who do this for the love of the game and because of their commitment to the development of opportunities for the youth in the community.

Code of Ethics

The Club provides children the opportunity to learn and develop soccer skills.

I. Introduction

As a matter of fundamental principle, the entire Foothill Storm organization shall adhere to the highest ethical standards because it is the right thing to do. Sponsors, donors and volunteers support our organization because they trust us to carry out our mission, to be good stewards of our resources, and to uphold rigorous standards of conduct.

II Principles and Values

Foothill Storm pledges to govern all of our endeavors to ensure:

All of our registered players train and play in a safe environment
All of our members adhere to the highest level of sportsmanship
All of our affairs will be conducted with transparency, integrity and honesty
We always show respect for the worth and dignity of all
We always follow the rules of our organization
We are responsible stewards of resources
We are committed to excellence in all that we do.

III Standards of Behavior

All members of the Foothill Storm organization, including Board Members, Staff, Committee Chairpersons, volunteers, coaches, trainers, administrators, parents, and players shall adhere to these general standards and ensure duties are discharged:

With Principles and Values in mind
In good faith
According to public law and the rules of FIFA, USSF, USYSA, and Cal South
In the best interests of the Foothill Storm
Exercising due diligence in decision making; and
So that all involved are provided with information, reports, statements, or financial data that is:
Accurate, timely, legal, and not tainted by conflicts of interests.

Our club’s philosophy has always been laser focused on developing players specifically from the Claremont area to reach their individual heights on the field while working in a team building environment creating lifelong friendships with their classmates and neighbors along the way. Our coaches are leaders within our community with experience as former professional players, former collegiate players, college coaches, high school coaches, and former alumni of Foothill Storm Soccer Club giving back to the next generation of future Claremont leaders to continue this cycle of excellence.
